Refund policy

Order Cancellation before Shipment
If you need to cancel your order, please do so within 24 hours to receive a refund.

Contact us at support@babyjoykids.com to cancel your order immediately. Please provide us with your order details, including the order number and the receiver's name or email address. Your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to the original payment method within 3-7 business days.

Order Cancellation after Shipment
If you need to cancel your order after 24 hours of placing it but before the item is delivered, you will receive a refund minus a recall fee of $25 AUD. After we have received the returned item, a refund minus the recall fee will be credited back to your original payment account within 3-7 business days.

Returned Item

We recognize that sometimes an item may not meet your needs or simply does not fit with your décor. In the event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 30 days from the date of purchase. Please keep in mind that all returns must be unused, unwashed, and undamaged and all packaging, labels, and tags must remain intact and be attached with the item. Otherwise, the item may not be eligible for return.

Promotional items, flash sales, clearance products, and any items marked as Final Sale are non-returnable and non-exchangeable. All sales are final.
For other purchases, return eligibility will depend on our standard return policy.

If any shipment is not fulfilled or shipped out after label creation, orders that exceed 10 business days can choose between order cancellations or refunds.

We do not refund or return original shipping charges. You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning any item to Babyjoy. In the event that you are unable to ship the item out, we will process a return shipping label. Once we’ve received the returned item, we will then process your total refund, excluding return shipping costs, to your original method of payment. Please note that all refunds are processed within 3-7 business days.

Defective Item
If you believe you have received a defective or faulty product, please contact us within 3 business days and provide the outer package's and product's defective pictures to confirm,  at support@babyjoykids.com before returning the item. We are committed to resolving the issue as quickly as possible and will assist with troubleshooting, repairing, or replacing the item. Please do not attempt to fix or modify the item yourself, as this may void any applicable warranty or return policy.

Received the Wrong Item
While we follow careful order-picking procedures to ensure accuracy, there may be instances where you receive the wrong item. If this happens, you can choose to keep the incorrect item with a partial refund or request the correct item. If you decide to request the correct item, we may offer you a free return shipping label. Please get in touch with us at support@babyjoykids.com and provide your order details, and we will assist you with the next steps. Upon receiving the returned item, we will send you the correct item or issue a refund, as requested.

Item Damaged During Transit
If you receive an item damaged during shipping, please reject the delivery immediately and contact us at support@babyjoykids.com. We will work with the shipping company to expedite a replacement order. Alternatively, you can request a refund after we've submitted a damage claim with the shipping company and received confirmation. Please provide us with images and videos of the damaged product and package box, as we may need them for the claim process.

Missing or Lost Item
If you suspect your package is missing or lost, please get in touch with our customer service team at support@babyjoykids.com with your order number and tracking number. We will initiate a lost package claim to help recover your missing or lost package. Please note that the process may take up to 7 days to receive a formal confirmation from the shipping company.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping Costs & GST:
1. Free shipping to most metro areas in Australia, variable shipping charges according to the weight of the product in other areas. 
2. Currency and Settlement: All transactions and payments will be conducted in Australian Dollars (AUD). Any amounts quoted, billed, or paid in other currencies will be converted to AUD at the prevailing exchange rate.
3. Pricing and GST: All prices listed for products and services are inclusive of a 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST) as required by Australian tax regulations. However, it's important to note that these prices do not include the Goods and Services Tax (GST) applicable in New Zealand.
For orders placed from New Zealand, please be informed that we are not a registered entity in New Zealand and do not possess a New Zealand Inland Revenue Department (IRD) number. Consequently, we are unable to provide invoices with New Zealand GST. Our invoices for New Zealand orders will not include any GST charges.
4. New Zealand Orders and GST Responsibility: Customers placing orders from New Zealand are responsible for the declaration and payment of Goods and Services Tax (GST) to the appropriate New Zealand authorities. As we are not registered for New Zealand GST and do not possess an IRD number, customers are required to handle the GST reporting and settlement process independently.

All Australia orders are shipped through either Australia Post or Direct Freight Express.
All New Zealand orders are shipped through Australia Post.

Shipping and Delivery Estimates

  • We strive to ship all in-stock orders as soon as possible. Typically, orders are shipped on the same day or the day following your purchase, but there may be situations where it could take longer. If your item is in stock, your order will be estimated to ship on the next business day. All estimates are based on business days.
  • If you pay by credit card, your order will be billed within 24 hours. Items are usually shipped within 1-3 business days after we receive payment. If you order multiple items with different delivery destinations, they may be shipped separately.
  • In cases of force majeure, such as extreme weather conditions, the processing of orders may be delayed. However, we will do our best to expedite your order as soon as possible once the conditions permit.
  • At Babyjoy, we take every reasonable precaution to ensure that our products are not damaged during shipping. However, product damage can occur during transit from our shipping facility to your home or business. If the item is damaged in transit, please contact us by e-mail (support@babyjoykids.com) and apply for a refund or return within 3 business days of receiving your package. Please note any visible damages (scrapes, dents, etc.) or operational damages (system malfunctions) and take digital photographs to provide proof of the damage in detail, as this will help us process your order refund.
  • Please be advised that shipping to rural and remote areas may take longer.

Orders Tracking

For each order you place, you will receive at least two emails:

1. Order Acknowledgment Email: Once you've placed an order, you will receive an email acknowledging your order details.
2. Shipment Confirmation Email: When your item ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation email. It will include your order number, carrier information, the date and time the order was placed, the status of the order, and package tracking numbers for shipped items. For the exact location of your shipment, please track your items on the carrier's official website.

You can also visit our online Order Status page 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to view the most up-to-date status of your order. To access your order summary, sign in to your Babyjoy account and password. Visit our Track Your Order Page for detailed steps on how to track your order.

1. Before making payment, please ensure that you have entered the correct shipping address for your order, as this is the address to which we will ship.
2. If you are not satisfied with the product or have mistakenly placed the wrong order, we are not responsible for any return shipping costs after the item has been shipped.
